Arrival at Nairobi – Welcome to Magical Kenya
Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore Nairobi’s cultural sites, such as the Giraffe Centre, home to the endangered Rothschild giraffe, or the Karen Blixen Museum, the colonial-era home of the Out of Africa author. Nairobi – Scenic Drive to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you leave Nairobi and begin a scenic drive north toward Samburu, a wild and semi-arid region rich in rare species and rugged beauty.The journey passes through lush farmlands and the foothills of Mount Kenya. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by your first exciting game drive. Samburu is home to the “Samburu Special Five,” which include Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, and the long-necked gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River, which cuts through the reserve, attracts a large concentration of wildlife and birds, offering peaceful riverine viewing and breathtaking photographic opportunities.Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Sopa or similar lodge.
Today is spent exploring the Samburu ecosystem with both morning and afternoon game drives. This reserve is less crowded than other parks and ideal for spotting big cats like leopard and lion. In between your drives, you can decide to visit a traditional Samburu village(It’s optional at 20 Usd per person. This cultural interaction offers an enriching opportunity to learn about nomadic customs, witness ceremonial dances, explore traditional homes (manyattas), and shop from a women-led craft market. Samburu-Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, your adventure south toward the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located in the Laikipia Plateau near Mount Kenya. Along the way, you cross the equator, with a quick stop for photos and an equator demonstration. Ol Pejeta is East Africa’s most successful rhino sanctuary and also hosts Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary. Upon arrival, check in and head out on an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta – Big Five Safari & Optional Conservation Activities

After breakfast, you descend into the Great Rift Valley toward the peaceful shores of Lake Naivasha.Known for its freshwater ecosystem and birdlife, Lake Naivasha is a haven for relaxation after the bush. Following lunch at the lodge, you will proceed on a boat safari to observe hippos in the water and diverse bird species including kingfishers and fish eagles.
